Q: How do I change my avatar?
A: Copy the URL of the picture you want and then follow these steps:
1: Click 'Profile' and then 'Modify Profile'.
2: Scroll down to where it says 'Avatar URL' and paste your chosen URL in the space.
3: Set the height/width limits in the space provided. Remember that your avatar must be no larger than 200x200.
4: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Modify Profile". You now have an avatar.
Q: How do I find the URL for my avatar/signature?
A:The easiest way is to upload your image to a site like Tinypic or Photobucket, and then you simply copy/paste the direct link.
Q: How do I get images into my signature?
A: Use this:

Remember that your signature must be no more than 500x200.
Q: How do I link a url?
A: Copy the URL of what you want linked and use this format (do not use quotation marks around the address:
[url=insert address here]title[/url]
Q: How do I change the format of my messages?
A: Proboards uses a BB Code system, so you will need to use that to change the format of your messages. Here are some basic BB Codes:

Q: How do I copy/paste from uploaded stories on FFN?
A: Here are a few temporary solutions for disabling CSS so copy-paste will work:
In IE - Open the Web developer tools using F12, choose 'Disable' then 'CSS'. The nice pretty page is gone but you can highlight.
In Chrome - Download web developer app from the extensions store - it’s free. Click the nifty gear now showing on your toolbar, click 'CSS' click 'Disable all styles'.
In Firefox – Press 'Alt' to get your menu to show up, then click the following: 'View' -> 'Page Style' -> 'No Styles'.
